Clean Outs Installed on Sewers
Clean out systems, sometimes referred to as a rod out station, are a must for some sewer lines. If there is a blockage at the front of the house and somebody is trying to rod the line from the catch basin or some spot in the back of the house, there just may not be enough force to budge the blockage. A clean out is a pipe that is connected directly to your main sewer line and comes up to the surface to give new access for rodding. Now with the new spot to rod the line from, the plumber can rod backwards and forwards and have all the torque that he needs to get rid of nearly any blockage in the line. |
