Tree root infestaiton can become a major problem for sewer lines. That old oak tree out in the front yard that you love so much can become your worst enemy! The trees are actually really smart and they know where to find an abundant supply of water. From your sewer! Once the tree roots have entered into your sewer line, they are difficut control. The most common method to combat this problem is running the electric power rodder through the sewer line with a 6" cutter blade on the end. This procedure will cut away the roots and open up the line. Keep in mind though, once the roots are cut, they will still continue to grow. Many people have the false belief that if you remove the tree causing the problem, your root infestation problem will also go away.
